T his motor is h igh-tech from top to bottom in appearance as well as performance and it's 100% emission-free. With its integrated lithium battery, outstanding efficiency, and Torqeedos optimized propulsion system, the is truly a game changer. Suitable for recreational or commercial use, this motor can do everything a gasoline-powered outboard can, but it's lighter, cleaner, quieter and more efficient. The Cruise 10.0 RS (short shaft) has a shaft length of just over 20 inches and is powerful alternative for dinghies, inflatables, jon boats, and sailboats up to 10 tons with fixed steering consoles. With a whopping 315 lbs of static thrust, the 10,000-watt motor provides the same power as a standard 25 hp outboard without the noise, odor, and messiness of a gasoline engine. And with Torqeedos optimized propulsion system, its also faster and more energy-efficient when it matters. Depending on the boat size, you can expect an average run-time over 8 hours and a range of up to 40 miles at low speed or around 50 minutes and 15.5 miles at full throttle.
